This tea comes from the
Yunnan
region of
China.
When infused for 1 minute, this tea has a deep red-to-brown cup color and is medium-bodied with an earthy flavor. Tea leaves come from the 'Dayeh' bush variety closely related to the original tea tree. Famed for its medicinal properties, Pu-erh is often taken for relief of indigestion and dysentery but has also been reported to reduce cholesterol, help digestion, promote body fluid secretion, quench thirst, invigorate the spleen, and dispel alcoholic toxins.
